SEC Championship Game 2024 set between Georgia-Texas
The 2024 SEC Championship Game is between Georgia and Texas in Atlanta next Saturday following Week 14 of college football. Georgia already clinched its spot in the SEC Championship and won an eight-overtime thriller Friday night over Georgia Tech to finish 10-2. Meanwhile, Texas won a much hyped rivalry game played for the first time since 2011. But now, it’s down to two teams for all the marbles in the SEC Championship and a first round bye in the College Football Playoff.

Offense - Auburn Jr. RB Jarquez Hunter delivered a record-setting performance in the 24-10 win over Kentucky. He rushed for a career-high 278 yards. Offense - QB Taylen Green led the Razorbacks to a dominant 58-25 win at Mississippi State with a near-perfect 23 of 30 completions for 314 yards and a career-high five TDs. Defense - Texas Jr. DB Michael Taaffe played a crucial role in the Longhorns’ 27-24 win over No. 25 Vanderbilt by forcing two turnovers, including an interception and a forced fumble.

AP College Football Poll 2024:
Top 25 Rankings for Week 10
Oregon continues to lead the way in the Associated Press Top 25 poll following a Week 9 that was light on major upsets. The rest of the top five also remains nearly the same with Georgia, Penn State, Ohio State and Miami following behind the Ducks. It's a much different story at the bottom of the poll after four teams that were ranked 20th or lower lost Saturday. Oregon gave Illinois a major reality check. The Ducks ran out to a 35-3 lead at halftime and cruised for the rest of the game.

Vanderbilt knocks off No. 1 Alabama in stunner: One of the biggest upsets in SEC college football history
Vanderbilt pulled off one of the biggest upsets in SEC history on Saturday, downing No. 1 Alabama 40-35 at home. This is Vanderbilt's first win against a top-five opponent, and its first win against Alabama since 1984. The Commodores' 40 points are also the most they've ever scored against a top-five team, and the most they've put up against Alabama since a 78-0 win in 1906...a 23.5-point underdog.

Alabama blows 28-0 lead, escapes Georgia on late touchdown
Alabama blew a 28-point lead against No. 2 Georgia at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday night. And then the No. 4 Crimson Tide broke the Bulldogs' hearts again in a 41-34 victory in which the SEC heavyweights scored touchdowns on consecutive plays from scrimmage late in the fourth quarter. Alabama didn't seal the victory until cornerback Zabien Brown intercepted quarterback Carson Beck's pass to receiver Colbie Young in the end zone with 43 seconds left to end Georgia's furious rally.

Georgia football opened as a road favorite for its top 5 clash with Alabama on Saturday night. The Bulldogs are a 2½ point favorite against the Crimson Tide. How rare is it for Bama to be a home underdog? It hasn’t happened since LSU was favored by 6½ on Nov. 3, 2007. LSU won 41-34. Malaki Starks’ journey to stardom with Georgia football

College GameDay was ready to set up camp here Saturday for Georgia-Kentucky until the Wildcats were slapped around by South Carolina. It turns out the matchup was worth the prime-time slot it occupied on ABC. No. 1 Georgia had to dig deep to pull out a tougher-than-anyone-expected 13-12 win at Kroger Field. There are plenty of games that will warrant ESPN’s road show to follow Georgia around like Deadheads or Swifties go from town to town.

Georgia Throttles Tennessee Tech 48-3 In Home Open
Georgia opened at home riding an astounding 40 game regular season winning streak. The media were welcomed to a brand new press box very high up in the clouds Thank goodness for binoculars. Tennessee Tech came in not expecting much except a $550,000 payday to get manhandled for a few hours by the #1 team in the country. And, the Bulldogs let it be known early that manhandling was what they had in store as Carson Beck hit Dylan Bell on the first play on offense with a six second scoring drive.
